This was an older home with very unique finishes that just weren’t my client’s style. Each room just felt a little cold. To warm it up, we added all new lighting, decor, furniture, and custom window treatments. The idea was to create livable, comfortable spaces that my client and her large family could enjoy.

The sitting area was the largest hurdle. We wanted to have a space that housed the piano, had a game table/chairs area, and had plenty of seating for grandkids! Now the space feels so much warmer and more inviting.

In the kitchen, we decided to add a large, narrow island with extra countertop at one end for seating. By putting drawer storage as well in the island, it made the kitchen function much better. Now each space feels connected through patterns and textures.
