After 20 years of living in their home, the Hooper family decided to revamp their whole main floor! We tore down walls, reconfigured spaces, and made their home much more open concept and baker friendly! My client, Kristie, is a gourmet cheesecake baker and needed a much larger working space and range oven that was worthy of her creations! Since their style really leaned towards vintage elements, we included antiques whereever possible as well as family mementos. We wanted to blend old with new. We added things like reclaimed wood on the fireplace and kitchen hood as well as her grandmother’s sewing table turned coffee bar in the kitchen to give it an old-world flair. Now with a 10-foot kitchen island, new lighting plan, and large pantry, this kitchen is ready for BAKING! Now that we tore the wall down in the dining room, it opens directly into the kitchen and got a much needed revamp. We also redid the powder room and laundry room, both with their own fun tile floors and unique finishes. The entryway looks much larger now due to paint, lighting, and decor. We added in the guest bedroom, office/nursery, and guest bathrooms as well.
