Miller’s Take Over Client Home

When we first saw this house with its over abundance of natural light and sky high ceilings, we knew it was a keeper! My sweet clients have fully renovated all three stories including a complete mother-in-law suite in the basement. The house originally had very rustic elements that just weren’t their style so we softened the look. We started by painting the beams a creamy color, putting wood floors everywhere to pull spaces together, and adding textured layers in every room.

We redid all bathrooms, mixing classic style with touches of coastal. This house has multiple entries so we dedicated a mudroom and a more formal style entry to separate the two by their function. We added a sitting room directly across the formal dining room that holds a beautiful art collection! In fact, each area of this room has original artwork that helps add some color to the otherwise neutral palette. The kitchen was a really FUN project where we reshaped and installed new countertops, took the backsplash up to the top of the window, carried wood floors from the living room, painted everything and added vintage inspired hardware.
